The Best Lessons I Have Learned In 2019
New Year, New Life, New Day, and New Resolutions,
that’s what we make and write on our social media. Well, I read somewhere,
“life can only be understood backward, but it must be lived forwards.” This
quote catches my full attention and made me think of the stuff I've learned and
witnessed in 2019.
2019, it wasn't like a piece of cake. Loss,
heartbreaks, separations, love deception and so on were also part of my life,
and I think that's what puts the person in a better position. These are the
main ingredients of every person's life, even though we try hard to avoid such
spicy ingredients, but somehow they gave their touch and at the end, any person
with these ingredients becomes gentle and mature enough. Isn’t it? Me and my
life were also part of these spicy ingredients and today, when I look back, I
can proudly say that I became a better woman in many different ways; I became
independent, strong, learned to say NO, learned to speak for the right thing,
learned to fight alone and learned to trust who or who could not. It's been a
year now in New Zealand. And I met a lot of people during my journey. I
realized that by living under the parents ' shelter, you won't be able to
understand the reality of the world and people. So once you're out of your
cocoon you're going to become part of these 4 spicy ingredients and ultimately
it depends on the kind of people you're going to meet and become.
As I said in 2019, it was a complete roller coast ride
for me; full of disappointments, loss, depression, etc. and everybody faced
this when living alone, but what really matters is how and what a person
learned in life? I met new people during the course of my journey, and some
left others remained in my life forever. Along with this, I also realized the
importance of relationships. I have realized no matter how much you have gone
through but some relations will never break. They will remain with you, by your
side forever, protect you guide you and become stronger day by day. These
relations are very precious. Always be real
in life and everyone will love the real you!
Addition to this:
1. I've learned that without a loss you're not gaining and that all things come in pain and joy.
2. For the first time in a long time, I knew how to live alone. Not depending on anyone else and going through those lonely nights has only made me stronger.
3. I've learned to love the messy bits of me and not to be so hard on myself.
4. I have learned how to balance my life, including knowing what drags me down, blocks my path, or controls my brain. While mindful of this, I can either fix the problem or let it go.
So, what are your life lessons of 2019? I'm curious to find out what you learned last year. If you enjoyed this blog, please give your comments and also share it with someone who might find it interesting. :D
